Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Naval Architect specializing in Autonomous Vessels to lead the design and development of innovative maritime solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in marine engineering and autonomous systems to create cutting-edge vessel designs that enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of autonomous vessel systems and technologies.
  • Conduct hydrodynamic analyses and simulations to optimize vessel performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate control systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform structural analysis and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate designs.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and reports, including design specifications and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in autonomous vessel technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in naval architecture or marine engineering, with a focus on autonomous vessels.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrodynamics, vessel design principles, and marine regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and structural analysis tools.
  • Experience with control systems and systems engineering methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
