Safety Manager - Construction (Bilingual)
Location: Topeka, KS - or surrounding areas (will be travelling throughout Kansas)
Salary: $90K-$120K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager for our construction projects. This bilingual position will focus on ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction sites while promoting a culture of safety among all workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Provide safety training and education to all construction workers and subcontractors.
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote a culture of safety on the job site.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports and safety meeting notes.
Monitor environmental conditions and ensure that proper safety measures are in place for hazardous materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHST) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
