Safety Manager - Construction (Bilingual)
Location: Topeka, KS - or surrounding areas (will be travelling throughout Kansas)
Salary: $90K-$120K (salary depends on experience) 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager for our construction projects. This bilingual position will focus on ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction sites while promoting a culture of safety among all workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide safety training and education to all construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to promote a culture of safety on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports and safety meeting notes.
  • Monitor environmental conditions and ensure that proper safety measures are in place for hazardous materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHST) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
