Project Manager - Construction

Essential Functions

• Build strong relationships with clients, design partners, and other key stakeholders by addressing business drivers, frequently visiting project sites, and facilitating team conversations.
• Assist in construction management by reviewing contracts, participating in preconstruction and bidding, overseeing submittals and RFIs, coordinating purchases, resolving subcontractor issues, and leading project closeouts.
• Continuously monitor and manage job costs and labor production.
• Participate in recurring meetings with project executives to discuss financials.
• Monitor project cashflow and billings, and negotiate Potential Change Items (PCIs).
• Actively engage in risk management by identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Perform risk analysis and observation reports.
• Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment of all activities and team members.
• Monitor project success, adjust as challenges and milestones occur, and notify the project team.
• Conduct weekly schedule updates.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent construction-related education and experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with outstanding interpersonal abilities to interact with leadership, client organizations, and the community.
• Well-organized, dedicated pre-planner and problem-solver.
• Ability to multitask, work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly while maintaining attention to detail and customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Primavera P6, Procore, and Bluebeam.
