HVAC Project Manager

Position Overview

We are a leading mechanical contractor in the greater LA area. We were established in 1960 and have continued to grow over the years in the design/build commercial space.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, design/build processes, and construction management. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in partnership with the project team.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct regular site inspections and attend project meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA requirements.
Utilize project management software such as Procore to track project milestones and documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in HVAC project management in a commercial setting.
Experience with hvac projects ranging from $1M-$5M
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design/build processes.
Familiarity with construction management practices and project scheduling.
Proficient in project management tools, particularly Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
