Controls Engineer

Position Overview
The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems used in industrial automation processes. This role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation of machinery and equipment by implementing effective control strategies and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for industrial applications
Program and configure PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and equipment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with machinery and process equipment
Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel
Prepare documentation and reports related to control system design and modifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems
Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
