Construction Sales Representative

Position Overview
The Construction Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within the construction industry by building and maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and requires a deep understanding of construction products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the construction sector.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in residential and commercial construction markets.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure customer needs are met and projects are completed to satisfaction.
  • Track sales metrics and report on performance to management on a regular basis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Experience in outside sales and territory management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial construction processes is desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
