Estimator/Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial painting projects from estimation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial coatings and painting, combined with project management and sales skills, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial painting projects based on specifications and site assessments.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and materials for each project.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
Prepare and present project proposals and bids to potential clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an estimator or project manager in the commercial painting industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial coatings and painting techniques.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Sales experience to effectively promote services and close deals.
