Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Audit Associate to join our assurance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to start or grow their career in public accounting. You will gain hands-on experience performing audits, reviews, and compilations, working closely with senior staff and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in performing audits, reviews, and compilations for various clients, including not-for-profit organizations and local governments.
Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards.
Analyze financial data and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.
Communicate with clients to request and clarify financial data.
Stay current with changes in accounting and auditing standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required).
CPA eligibility or pursuit (preferred).
Up to 2 years of experience in public accounting (internships included).
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Ability to travel locally for client engagements.
