Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will assist with various legal matters, providing support in criminal law, construction litigation, and contract law. This role involves client representation and will require strong legal writing and negotiation skills to effectively manage cases and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior attorneys in preparing legal documents and conducting legal research.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations.
  • Draft contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents as needed.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Westlaw.
  • Prepare for trial by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
  • Engage in mediation and arbitration processes on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and procedures in all case management activities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Barred in Nevada
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience 
  • Strong understanding of criminal law, litigation, and contract law.
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills.
  • Proven experience in client representation and negotiation.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with civil procedure and regulatory compliance.
