Position Overview:

A Workers' Compensation Attorney is responsible for representing clients who have been injured on the job and helping them receive the necessary compensation for their injuries. This role involves providing legal advice and guidance to clients, negotiating with insurance companies, and representing clients in hearings and trials.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their workers' compensation claims.
Prepare and file legal documents related to workers' compensation cases.
Negotiate with insurance companies to ensure clients receive fair compensation for their injuries and lost wages.
Represent clients in hearings and trials.
Keep up-to-date with laws and regulations related to workers' compensation.
Maintain communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their case.
Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as paralegals and attorneys, to build a strong case for clients.

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed Attorney with a strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
2+ years prior experience in handling and defending workers' compensation cases is preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in legal research and writing.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong client service orientation and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
