We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Transportation Engineer EIT to join our talented team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, inspecting, and managing transportation projects with an emphasis on highway bridge design, roadway engineering, and civil engineering. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the transportation engineering field.

Position Overview: The Transportation Engineer EIT will collaborate with the senior engineers and will provide technical support on projects in a variety of civil engineering disciplines including roadway design, bridge design, and other transportation engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed records of project progress, developing construction plans, and providing technical solutions to complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design highway bridges, roadways, and other civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Geopak Inroads, Geopak, and ProjectWise.
Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design calculations for projects.
Provide technical engineering support on projects and provide solutions to complex engineering problems.
Develop detailed records of project progress and create construction plans.
Conduct field inspections and provide recommendations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Geopak Inroads, Geopak, and ProjectWise.
Ability to work in a team environment and take direction.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
