Tax Supervisor

We are looking for a Tax Supervisor with a strong accounting background and practical experience in all areas of taxation including individual, corporate, partnership, and international. The ideal candidate should have the expertise and knowledge to provide clients with comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and consulting services.

Position Overview:

The Tax Supervisor will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the tax team in ensuring accurate and timely preparation of client returns. The position will also be responsible for providing guidance to team members on complex tax matters, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, and serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of all tax returns for clients in Manufacturing, Professional Services, Technology, Construction, and Real Estate.
• Develop and review tax strategies for all clients to ensure compliance and minimize liabilities.
• Ensure accuracy in calculations and complete returns on time.
• Manage and train a team of Tax Associates.
• Provide expertise and advise clients on all areas of taxation.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Perform research and analysis of complex tax issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the field of taxation.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
