We are a growing firm local to Lubbock that is opening the team up to you! If you are a tax professional with experience in the public accounting space or have experience consulting businesses for their financial and tax needs, we would love to see your info. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file taxes for individuals and businesses
Process payroll accurately and timely
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Prepare financial statements and reports
Support the finance team in various accounting projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification or eligible
2+ years of experience as an Accountant in a public accounting firm
Experience with payroll processing and compliance
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
