Summary:

The Senior Development Associate oversees and guides the development and acquisition of new projects, including securing funding and completing due diligence processes. The individual will analyze financial viability, manage construction oversight, and ensure compliance with project standards and timelines.

Responsibilities:

Lead new project development, acquisition, and financing efforts, providing comprehensive assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct detailed financial feasibility analyses for new development and acquisition opportunities, ensuring accurate assessment of project viability.
In coordination with our Capital Markets department, prepare comprehensive financing and equity packages, including applications, to secure necessary funding for projects.
Coordinate and complete due diligence items for lenders and investors, ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is accurate and complete.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years experience in affordable housing development utilizing the LIHTC program.
Significant experience in entitlement processes, financial analysis, and project management.
Deep understanding of the LIHTC process and differences in tax credit programs
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
