The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Tax Preparer with 5-12 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns and potentially stepping into a reviewing role as you continue to grow in your career. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex tax returns and collaborate with a supportive, knowledgeable team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Assist in tax planning and compliance for a diverse client base
Collaborate with senior staff and managers on tax issues and client projects
Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring timely and accurate filings
Stay updated on tax regulations and changes to provide clients with informed advice

Qualifications:

5-12 years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
Strong understanding of tax forms such as 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041
CPA license preferred or actively pursuing
Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte, CCH Axcess, or similar platforms)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
