Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer

Location: St. Louis, MO - North of Arnold City Park and Meramec River

Salary: $100K - $120K

Requirements: PLC Programming, Control Panel Design, Machine Vision (Cognex/Keyence)

This role will be based out of 40,000 square foot plant. This is an on-site position. We have created a strong culture and found this is a great way for us to continue to push ideas and help one another learn and develop. We are currently seeking a Senior Controls Engineer who is looking to start moving their career up. We are seeking someone to come in and lead by example to the other engineers around them. Our team consists of multiple levels of engineers.

This position will interact with our customers to help provide them new and unique situations, or solve problems that have arisen. We work across multiple industries, but all mass production manufacturers are able to leverage our product and insure end users are provided the highest quality, while providing our clients the opportunity to locate system defaults.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement control systems and software for new and existing projects.
Program PLCs and HMIs.
Create Panel Designs.
Test and commission new automation systems.
Work with Machine Vision systems, leveraging Cognex and Keyence.
Meet customers on occasional basis (Maybe 20% Travel) to help understand what they are envisioning, and to foster a business relationship.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in engineering or related field preferred
5+ years of experience in programming PLC's.
5 + Experience with designing control panels.
Experience with Machine Vision Software - Cognex or Keyence.
Willingness to learn from those around you while sharing with them.
Experience handling projects alone or while leading someone else
