The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural projects, with a particular focus on bridge engineering. This role requires collaboration with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects meet all safety and regulatory standards, particularly those of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural components for bridge projects.
Prepare and review engineering plans and specifications.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
Conduct site inspections and assessments during construction phases.
Ensure compliance with Texas DOT standards and regulations.
Prepare project documentation and reports.
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license required in TX
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridge engineering for TxDOT
Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles and Texas DOT requirements.
Experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
Experience as a Bridge Project Manager is a plus.
