Basic Purpose: Prepare and review Federal and State income tax returns. Must be an adaptable self-starter with ability to work independently and with co-workers. Must be resourceful, have ability to use good judgment, and possess knowledge of business etiquette. Must be able to prioritize work, solve problems and organize their own time with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and/or review federal and state income tax returns, quarterly estimates, and tax provisions.
Participate in client meetings and engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues.
Research and respond to state, local, and federal tax authorities to resolve tax issues
Provide training, leadership, and supervision to Tax Staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting
CPA license preferred or eligible and actively pursuing CPA designation
Minimum of 2 years of public accounting tax experience
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Technologically proficient - CCH Axcess experience a plus

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year based on experience
