Roofing Sales Representative
Position Overview
The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth in roofing systems through outside sales efforts, cultivating strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets. This role involves educating clients on product offerings, providing technical support, and staying informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in roofing systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications of roofing systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding building envelope products.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in industry events to network and promote products.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage client relationships and track sales activities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations using Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems and building envelope products.
- Demonstrated ability in new business development and achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools, specifically SalesForce.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
- Knowledge of industry trends and new product developments.
