Locations Serviced: Morgantown (PA), Janesville (WI) and Oroville (OH)
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + Relocation

LIVING PROXIMITY - This position will primarily service our Morgantown, PA location so if you are local then the travel component is roughly 30%.  If you live in other states (perhaps Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia etc) it will be closer to 80% but you can live remotely and travel.

**We are essentially only considering applicants east of the Mississippi river**

Founded in 1965 we are the #1 producer of truck & van bodies in the US. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US. This is a highly specific position that will involve setting up plants (dealing w/ contractors, handling plant layouts and implementation projects) and implementing new equipment lines.  We need a strong Manufacturing Engineer with project management skills who is familiar with full cycle project management (from justification to approval to implementation).  You will be directing engineers to do the work that you're managing as well.

What You Will Be Doing

  1. Support research, design & development of manufacturing processes incl: production flow, assembly methods & production equipment
  2. Consult w/ stakeholders to determine functional & spatial requirements of new structure / renovation and prep design specs, equipment & construction time
  3. Prepare detailed layouts of the facilities property, buildings & equipment
  4. Supports & lead the manufacturing launch of new/revised products incl: establishing goals, training team members & evaluating results
  5. Designs, develop & test and/or source / cost-justify tools, machinery, equipment, & refrigerated insulation processes for safe manufacturing of truck bodies
  6. Prepare capital projects for new equipment & processes
  7. Safely launches machines, process, methods and/or tooling technologies
  8. Provide technical process expertise for plant & supplier quality issues 

What You Need for this Position

  1. Bachelors in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing ideal
  2. 5+ years in a manufacturing environment (ideally automotive manufacturing)
  3. 2+ years of project management as it pertains to full cycle project management (from justification to approval to implementation of plant layouts)
  4. Experience managing startup projects implementing a full manufacturing line
  5. Experience w/ welding, joining, metal working, manual assembly etc
  6. Lean manufacturing & Six Sigma Green Belt at minimum
  7. Ability to travel to our Morgantown (PA), Janesville (WI) and Oroville (OH) plants
  8. Experience w/ new product changeover & strategy deployment
  9. Experience doing a full CAD layout
  10. Experience implementing TPM or AM program on a piece of equipment
  11. Fanuc experience is a plus
  12. Experience w/ factory automation, maintenance & integrating engineering designs
