Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Wilmington, NC
Salary Rate: $70,000 - $140,000
My client is a top civil construction contractor headquartered in North Carolina who are looking for a project manager located near Wilmington to join their growing team. We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of civil construction experience with experience with large earthwork projects and federal experience. If that sounds like you, lets connect.
Responsibilities:
Assist in bid preparation by addressing constructability issues.
Prepare quantity take-offs for proposals.
Coordinate with various departments to manage company resources efficiently.
Represent the company professionally at meetings with clients and stakeholders.
Provide servant leadership to foster relationships and trust with customers.
Review and understand bid documents and specifications.
Procure subcontract and material quotes and review for compliance.
Prepare estimates and final bid documents.
Manage contract documents from award to project close-out.
Conduct pre-job meetings and site visits as necessary.
Collect accounts receivable and process accounts payable accurately and timely.
Review and update cost reports regularly.
Perform duties in line with company mission and values.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and the public.
Requirements:
5+ years of heavy civil/site work construction project management experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and expedite when necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
Contact suppliers and subcontractors for quotes.
Request accurate reports from project stakeholders.
Act as company representative during projects.
Schedule and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
