Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Position Overview: The 2nd shift Production Supervisor will be a key member of the production team, responsible for coordinating and supervising production operations in order to ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality products. This position requires strong organizational and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate production operations, including scheduling personnel and equipment, and ensuring timely production of quality products.
• Supervise and mentor production staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and develop methods to improve efficiency.
• Ensure production operations comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Analyze production data and report any concerns or issues to management.
• Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of production experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodology.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• A plus to be bilingual in Spanish & English!
• A plus to have experience with Injection Molding/Plastics!
