Established (75+ Years) Leading Building Materials Company Seeks Process Engineer in Joplin, MO
Leader in roofing and building materials, is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at the Joplin, MO. This position will evaluate process performance data, apply engineering principles, and execute process improvements across multiple roofing manufacturing production lines within the facility.

Who You Are:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
Expert in AutoCAD and proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong ability to present and communicate work to plant management, peers, and maintenance/operations personnel
Experience applying principles of mathematics, statistics, and engineering to resolve process issues
Preferred Experience:
Ability to develop project scopes, solicit bids from vendors, and manage installation of capital improvement projects
Experience creating process flow diagrams and conducting cost-benefit analysis
Strong background in mechanical systems modeling, particularly in machinery exposed to abrasive materials
Familiarity with statistical analysis methods to drive data-based decision-making
Responsibilities:
Work in a team environment to evaluate and improve current manufacturing systems
Improve the reliability of mechanical systems exposed to abrasive materials
Lead multi-disciplinary teams to break down complex process problems and apply engineering principles to eliminate issues and optimize processes
Apply statistical analysis to support data-driven decision-making and provide project justifications
Develop project scopes, solicit bids, and manage the installation of capital improvements
Model mechanical systems in AutoCAD to improve the lifecycle of high-wear components
