Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Construction

Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all stages of a project, from the transition from estimating through to completion. This role ensures that the client's requirements are met, projects are finished ahead of schedule, stay within budget, and adhere to company safety, quality, and procedural standards. Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources on Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants ranging in size from $1M-$50M
Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of projects and monitor actual costs against estimates as the project progresses.
Conduct special studies to develop standard hour and cost data, aiming for cost reductions.
Collaborate with owners, contractors, and subcontractors
Review material and labor needs to create detailed itemized lists.
Participate in weekly management staff meetings.
Visit project sites before bidding and during construction phases.
Develop long-term plans and programs to assess work accomplishments.
Engage in marketing HCC services to owners, developers, and general contractors.
Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, and promote safety practices among employees.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction, with a focus on water and wastewater plants.
Knowledge of construction equipment, government requirements, raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs
Experience with project management software
Experience with Hard Dollar Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar software
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations.
Valid Driver License
Adhere to company values and prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines
