Outside Sales Account Manager
Location: Detroit Metro
Salary: $60K - $70K + UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Account Manager to drive our B2B sales initiatives and foster strong relationships with clients. This role is essential in identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and achieving sales targets in a competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with potential and existing customers
- Sales account manager services customers directly from stocked vehicle
- 15-20 stops within the territory daily
- In person interactions with mechanics, shop foreman, engineers, corporate purchasing departments, and business owners daily
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Follow-up on sales leads provided by Management
- Monitor collections on monthly basis with Accounts Receivable Department
- Work trade shows as determined by Management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong account management skills with a focus on client relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Previous Manufacturing sales experience (Preferred)
