We are a strong, global, manufacturing company looking for a Network Manager to lead our networking team. You will be a hands-on leader, not only leading by example, you will be part of the strategic direction of our networking, leading the way to successful solutioning. You will manage a six person team initially, with team growth as we evolve!
This role is onsite 5 days a week. If you are located a little farther out, but can get to the office, let's talk!

The Network Manager must come from a manufacturing company, currently still hands-on with strong leadership skills.
- Support the company with short and long term planning and recommendations for our network infrastructure solutions and services
- Working closely with our vendors and team, design and implement network solutions
- Lead the team to monitor and maintain all network operations at headquarters and all locations. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing issues and resolutions.
- Assist with Security (data, disaster recovery, firewalls and change control management)
- Ensure all policies and procedures are developed, conform to company standards and are well documented
- Lead the team strategically and as a hands-on technical member as well
- There will be international travel
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with networking certifications is required
- 6+ years of infrastructure network design, implementation and team management in a global environment
- Strong experience in a Global Manufacturing organization
- Strong team leadership skills, leading a team of highly skills Network Engineers
- 6+ years of supporting WAN/LAN/WLAN Networks at expert level
- 2+ years implementing and supporting SDN, SD-WAN and Cloud technology, preferably Azure
- 2+ years supporting Meraki switches and wireless or similar products
- Expert level experience with routers and switches, Cisco or Juniper
- Expert level experience with TCP/IP and networking protocols
- Expert level experience with MPLS, VPN and telecommunications
- Strong vendor management skills
