We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing mechanical products, assemblies, and systems using engineering principles, concepts, and practices. The ideal candidate should be experienced with FEA, DFMEA, CFD, DFM, PFMEA, GD&T, Injection Mold, Automotive, Die Casting, 3D Mechanical Design, Automotive Design, CSA CLASS 1, and Solidworks.

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

Relocation PROVIDED 

Position Overview: The Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering support on a variety of projects with a focus on developing and designing mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and utilizing CAD models, designing, analyzing, and creating assembly drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using engineering principles, concepts, and practices.
• Create and utilize CAD models.
• Analyze and create assembly drawings.
• Develop test plans and standards to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Develop design solutions to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role.
• Experience with FEA, DFMEA, CFD, DFM, PFMEA, GD&T, Injection Mold, Automotive, Die Casting, 3D Mechanical Design, Automotive Design, CSA CLASS 1, and Solidworks.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
