Lead of Structural Engineering - Multi-family and Hospitality Projects

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to oversee and manage structural engineering projects specifically within the multi-family and hospitality sectors. The ideal candidate will apply their technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality structures that meet safety and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of structural engineers on multi-family and hospitality projects.
Collaborate with architects and MEP engineers to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
Review and approve structural designs, calculations, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve any structural issues that arise on-site.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and technical skills.
Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on multi-family and hospitality projects.
Proficient in structural design software and tools.
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience in collaborating with architectural and MEP teams is a plus.
