- Background in Biotechnological or Electrical Engineering or other science-related field.

Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in patent litigation, with a strong technical background in areas such as electrical engineering, computer science, chemistry, or biotechnology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation, involving cutting-edge technologies, and to play a critical role in protecting our clients' intellectual property rights.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume caseload of IP litigation matters
Contribute to the development and execution of litigation strategy
Draft and review critical legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
Represent cients in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission, including participating in Markman hearings, trials, and appeals
Oversee the discovery provess, including document production, depositions, and interrogatories
Play a key role in trial preparation, including developing case strategies, preparing trial materials, and coordinating with witnesses and experts.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Bachelor's in Science-related field
Admission to the Bar in the state where practicing
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hard IP litigation
Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including Patent Litigation - Trial, and USPTO experience
Portfolio management experience, Patent Licensing
Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of cases
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
