Job Description: General Liability Attorney

Position Overview

The General Liability Attorney is responsible for representing clients in general liability cases and providing legal counsel on matters related to general liability law. The candidate must have a strong understanding of litigation procedures and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of general liability cases, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
Conduct depositions and witness interviews
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on general liability issues
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies
Stay updated on changes in general liability laws and regulations
Maintain accurate and detailed case records

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state
Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability law and litigation
Strong knowledge of general liability laws and legal procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
