Field Engineer

Position Overview
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customer's industrial control systems are operating at peak performance. You will work in various environments, including manufacturing plants, water treatment facilities, and oil and gas refineries. Your primary role will be to provide on-site support and conduct maintenance and repair work on complex control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of industrial control systems
Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of control systems
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and develop solutions to customer issues
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on site

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Proficiency with Rockwell and Factory Talk software
Experience with Wonderware and HMI systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly
