Position Overview
This is an onsite position at Ellsworth AFB with paid travel back home every three weeks! We are seeking a skilled Federal Superintendent to manage on-site construction activities for a variety of commercial and vertical construction projects. The successful candidate will work directly with the USACE/Navfac to ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
Oversee on-site construction activities, including scheduling, quality control, safety, and budget management
Ensure project compliance with Federal, DoD, and NAVFAC regulations and requirements
Provide regular project updates and reports to USACE/Navfac and DoD stakeholders
Manage and mentor project staff, including construction managers, engineers and administrative staff

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in Commercial/Vertical Construction Projects
Experience working on Federal and NAVFAC projects
Knowledge of USACE and DoD regulations and requirements
Experience managing ground-up construction projects
Experience with concrete and slab construction
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
Previous experience managing hangar construction projects (nice to have)
Previous experience working with government agencies (nice to have)
