Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that all financial aspects are accounted for in commercial construction projects. This role is vital to the success of our projects, enabling us to deliver quality results on time and within budget. Typical projects range from $3M to $30M
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans and specifications to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to refine project scopes and clarify requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather on-the-ground data for accurate estimating.
- Review and analyze bid proposals and contract documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and service offerings.
- Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to estimates.
Qualifications
- Experience in Estimating ground up projects range from $3M to $30M
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with experience in commercial estimating preferred.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
