Position Overview
We are a family-owned, 3rd generation, general construction firm with 200+ employees. We provide a variety of construction services, including; general contracting, foundations, site work, underground utilities, etc.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in construction estimating and a keen understanding of civil engineering concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Prepare accurate estimates for labor, materials, and equipment needed for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project requirements.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for estimates.
Stay updated on industry trends, costs, and best practices to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and new information as it arises.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience estimating civil projects, site work, foundations, underground utilities, concrete, etc.
