Are you an estimator with at least 5 years of experience in takeoff estimating for commercial construction project? Then, please read on, because we have an exciting opportunity for you in Woodstock, IL. We are a family-owned, union-supporting commercial constriction firm that specializes in carpentry, specifically metal stud and drywall framing. We pride ourselves in our pillars of integrity, adaptability, and dependability, as we consistently work multiple projects at a time, yet still deliver on-time and on-budget completion.

As an estimator with us, you will be responsible for estimating our commercial-based projects that align to our clients in the retail, healthcare, industrial, educational, and municipal sectors. Please review the qualifications below:

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project scope and requirements.
Conduct thorough and accurate quantity take-offs of materials, labor, and equipment.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop and refine project estimates as needed
Identify and analyze potential project risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractor.
Maintain accurate and organized records of project estimates, bids, and other relevant documents.
Keep current with industry trends and market conditions to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience estimating commercial projects.
Experience estimating with the following project scope: Retail, Healthcare, Educational, Municipal Sectors.
Experience with On Center Software is a PLUS
Take-off related to metal stud, dry wall, exterior framing cold form, metal framing, interior metal stud.
Huge PLUS if you have the ability to estimate take-off and full GC Bid.
Project Management experience is a PLUS
Ability to communicate to internal stakeholders and counterparts
