Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager
Location: Mount Airy, MD area
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000/year Base Salary
Founded in 1997, we are a leading commercial electrical subcontractor providing electrical, low voltage and electrical service solutions to the Baltimore and DC Metropolitan area. We mainly focus on commercial projects, Medical Offices, Educational, Office, and Government projects.
We are looking for a Electrical Project Manager with strong experience electrical project management, electrical systems, and proven team mentoring and management.
1) Plan and organize a project
2) Prepare project estimates, scope, and present proposals to clients
3) Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing
4) Train and effectively supervise Project Engineers in the company philosophy and systems
5) Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project
6) Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and General Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budgets
7) Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion
8) Prepare monthly costing reports
9) Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client
1) Bachelor's degree in construction, construction mangement, or related field; or related construction experience
2) 5+ years with Electrical Project Management
3) Knowledgeable with construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods
4) Proven experience with team management: mentoring/training/equipping
5) Experienced with Procore and Field Wiz is a plus
6) Proficient with computer/Microsoft Office
7) Strong Professionalism
