Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical components and control systems for a variety of maritime applications. The Electrical Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical components and control systems for a variety of maritime applications
- Lead the development and testing of electrical products, ensuring products meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Document and maintain systems and designs to ensure accuracy and scalability.
- Provide technical support during in-house system testing and for ABS & USCG system compliance.
- Communicate with clients through all development phases
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in designing control systems and embedded design.
- Familiarity with PCB design, layout and assembly
- Experience in the Marine industry a plus!!
- Strong technical problem solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of CAD software and other design tools.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines.
