Title: Electrical Controls Engineer
Location: Mukwonago, WI
Compensation: up to 120k DOE
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for our custom automated equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC and HMI programming and experience designing custom automated machinery. This is a hands-on position that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program PLC and HMI systems for custom automated equipment
- Develop and maintain electrical control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Perform assembly and installation of electrical components on equipment
- Configure and integrate motion control and servo systems
- Implement and optimize CIP motion and robotics systems- Utilize pneumatic and vision systems for machine control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Provide technical support and assistance to production teams
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical controls technology
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Controls Engineer
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems
- Experience designing custom automated machinery
- Strong understanding of electrical design and schematics
- Experience with motion control, servo systems, and CIP motion
- Working knowledge of robotics, pneumatic, and vision systems
- Strong with AutoCAD Electrical software
- Willingness to travel for project installations and support (up to 25%)
