Position Overview:
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist ensures compliance and manages EHS programs for the North Campus Plant. This role involves regulatory compliance, training, hazard evaluation, and safety processes to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all staff are informed of current and upcoming regulatory requirements.
Develop processes to identify and control workplace hazards.
Conduct OSHA-compliant safety training and provide industrial hygiene support.
Oversee air, water, and waste compliance, including DOT.
Maintain chemical inventory records for regulatory tracking.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years in industrial health, safety, and environmental roles.
Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other safety regulations; professional certification preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
