Position Overview:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and software solutions for our company's data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in pipeline engineering, data engineering, and software engineering, with expertise in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Java, and SPARK. A strong understanding of root cause analysis and experience working in an Agile environment is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and software solutions to support our company's data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data needs and requirements.
- Optimize data processes and systems for efficiency and scalability.
- Implement data quality and data governance strategies to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and constantly look for ways to improve processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top-Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, data engineering, and software engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Java, and SPARK.
- Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
