Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator / Driver specialized in HiRail and Crawler operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating rail-bound equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards while contributing to the successful completion of projects in the rail industry.

**Must reside within 1 hour of job location
**Will have 24/7 on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Operate HiRail and Crawler cranes for various rail projects
Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites
Perform pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards while operating vehicles and equipment
Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively
Maintain accurate records of operations and equipment usage
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and vehicles to prevent breakdowns

Qualifications

Valid CDL A or CDL B driver's license
Proven experience operating heavy equipment,
Familiarity with E-Rail and HiRail crane operations
Knowledge of rail-bound equipment and its applications
Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to heavy equipment operation
Crane Operator certification preferred
Ability to work in varied weather conditions and travel to different job sites
