Controls Engineer

Location: Denver, CO

Position Overview
As the Controls Engineers, you will be in charge of the programming, graphics, application engineering, installation, and commissioning of new Building Automation systems. You would be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of specific projects and agreements as assigned, ensuring that contractual commitments are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Program Niagara N4 for Honeywell Spyder Classic/5/7, CIPer, and Optimizer controllers.
Configure third-party control devices.
Commissioning of new and retrofitted control systems.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics of New and Existing
Develop user-friendly customer interfaces (graphics).Assist with project layout, engineering, and design.
Interpret the mechanical and control drawings, sequences, and design intent.
Develop operational sequences in retrofit applications and identify deficiencies in engineered sequences.
Provide quality as-built notes.
Identify additional control opportunities and deficiencies.
Offer sales support as needed for technically complex or sensitive project opportunities.
Take ownership of assigned projects.
Supervise control system installation according to specification/design.
Ensure quality installation, commissioning, and checkout standards.
Instruct and support junior controls engineers/technicians and installation technicians.
Train customers on how to operate completed projects.
Manage time to ensure timely project completion and stay productive.

Qualifications

5+ years of HVAC Controls experience
2+ years of experience using Niagara N4
High School Diploma or GED
Experience troubleshooting new and existing electrical controls circuits and devices.
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
Experience in engineering controls solutions and providing detailed as-built notes.
