Controller

 Position Overview: The Controller will oversee all financial activities of the company and be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records. They will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with other department heads to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting and tax regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing training opportunities.
• Collaborate with department heads to review and analyze departmental budgets and expenses.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the company's growth and profitability.
• Coordinate and manage the annual audit and tax filing processes.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as GAAP.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the same industry is a plus.
