We are reputable construction firm known for our focus with concrete and general contracting services. We have been in business for over 100 years and we are still growing. We are currently in need of a few Civil Estimators with highway and bridge construction expereince.
Key Responsibilities
-Develop comprehensive cost estimates for bridge and highway concrete projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
-Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
-Collaborate with teams, work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
-Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all estimates, project changes, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or field expereince e
-At least 3+ years of experience in estimating, with a focus on bridge and highway concrete work.
-Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
-Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar).
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
