Title: Chemist
Location: Huntsville, AL
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
For over 80 years, we have delivered vibrant, ultra-high-quality paints and coatings to manufacturers and applicators around the world. Today, our customers in the automotive, powersports, and general industrial markets range from global manufacturers to custom paint shops.
As a Chemist, you will service our customers in the area and eventually transition into our sales department. If brought on, this potion would require 6-month training at our St. Louis headquarters with housing provided.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with developing new colors and products for customers
- Establish schedules and logs lab requests and projects
- Perform qualifications testing of developed products and all technical service functions for customers
- Contribute to efforts for continuous improvement and reduction of costs/wastes
- Support production scale-up and problem analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related field
- 1+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity (internships included)
