Based in Rockford, IL, we have been providing expert legal counsel in various practice areas for over 85 years. We specialize in civil, business law, estate planning, bankruptcy, family law, and municipal.
Due to growth, we're looking for a Bankruptcy Paralegal with 1+ years of experience to join our firm! Must be proficient in legal research and document preparation, including Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings and experience working with courts and legal proceedings.

What You Will Be Doing
1.) Legal document preparation and assisting with bankruptcy law cases utilizing Best Case software.
2.) Coordinating with courts and handling Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings.
What You Need for this Position
Must have skills:
1.) 1+ years of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal
2.) Proficient in document preparation and Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings.
3.) Experience working with courts and legal proceedings
4.) Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field
Nice to have skills:
1.) Certification as a Paralegal is a plus
