Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Senior to join our growing audit team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to advance their career in public accounting. The Audit Senior will play a key role in overseeing audit engagements, ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit engagements for a diverse range of clients, including non-profits, real estate, and financial services.
Perform audit planning, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and AICPA standards.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance on audit procedures and best practices.
Review and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and risk management.
Communicate effectively with clients to address audit findings, recommendations, and other financial matters.
Stay updated on changes in regulations, tax laws, and auditing standards.
Assist in identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation or Accounting preferred).
CPA certification Preferred
3-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and AICPA auditing standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
