Who you are:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Texas State Bar
Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury defense and/or insurance defense
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to complete 1,800 billable hours annually

What you will be doing:

Defending clients against personal injury claims arising from accidents, negligence, or other incidents
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trial
Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings
Handling insurance-related matters, including coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and subrogation
Evaluating insurance policies, assessing liability, and advising clients on defense strategies
Working closely with insurance carriers and adjusters
Managing a caseload of personal injury and insurance defense cases
Attending hearings, depositions, and mediations
Developing case strategies and providing legal counsel to clients
Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
Providing timely updates on case developments
Building strong client relationships based on trust and professionalism
Staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, and precedents
Drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery requests
