Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Location: Vero Beach, FL
Salary: $100K-$180K depending on level and experience
Requirements: Civil Litigation, JD, Florida Bar Admission
- Conduct in-depth legal research on complex civil litigation issues
- Analyze legal precedents and case law to identify relevant arguments and support the clients position
- Prepare detailed legal memoranda summarizing research findings and outlining potential litigation strategies
- Craft persuasive motions requesting specific actions from the court
- Draft clear and concise trial briefs outlining the legal arguments
- Prepare case summaries, witness interviews, and deposition outlines
- Meet with clients regularly to understand goals and concerns
- Clearly explain legal concepts
- Prepare clients for upcoming depositions, hearings, mediations, trials
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar
- 1+ years experience in civil litigation including but not limited to: alternative dispute resolution, commercial and business litigation, condominium/cooperative/HOA law, construction law, construction liens, debt collection and judgement enforcement, employment and labor law, probate and trust litigation, real estate disputes
- Ability to provide a writing sample upon request for consideration
